Relaxation and the Joys of Working Together to Provide

Heather Lee: Well, it proved to be a hot day and I asked NS if he wanted to go down to the Leisure Day festival. So after making breakfast and cleaning up the kitchen, we all decided to descend on Central Park for a good ol' time.:

Needless to say it was interesting...the concession stands were devoid of people hanging around. It appeared that the protest by City Hall had more people present than the entirety of the festival. Oh there were a few people around. Namely a fellow by the name of @CravenLestat who appeared to be enjoying the roller-skating rink. Of course we took advantage of the dearth of people to get ourselves some food from the concession stands.

Of course, Phil and Eddy both had to work later on in the afternoon, so eventually the whole group ended up whittling down to just myself and NS. Phil came home later by bike.

NS was totally smitten with the little yellow balls of fluff and went out to play with the chicks - luckily it wasn't raining that day or he would have caught a cold.

The next day, he went over to the store to buy some ingredients so that we could make dinner. While he was there, he ran into @CravenLestat again.

With the tax bill coming around, NS felt that he had to go binning again and took a dive headfirst into the dumpsters behind Hogan's. Unfortunately he found the smell rather overpowering and promptly proceeded to empty the contents of his stomach.

Since his stomach was still rather queasy from that binning expedition, he ended up reading a fishing book to increase his knowledge of what baits to use on what fish.

Eddy, hungry after work decided to go over to Hogan's and grab a bite to eat there.

The forecast predicted rain and it was evidently so as the heavens opened up and it poured. But the pond at Central Park did have its share of people there even if there weren't many at all.

I opted to stay home and not get drenched. I painted instead.

...while my sweetheart read his fishing books on the bed.

Our new house was much larger and we had the whole second floor to ourselves, while we put in a third bedroom for Eddy so that he wouldn't have to keep sharing the bedroom with Phil...who snored. It was quite the relief for Eddy who wasn't too enamored of the chainsaw noise emanating from Phil's nostrils, audible even from across the room in his own bed and he was more than happy to move into his own private room.

NS got a call from the theatre to ask if he could fish for a clownfish which NS readily agreed to. And he was out for pretty much the whole day, fishing at the seashore by the old broken down pier. Slowly...slowly things are looking up. I'm gaining recognition as a painter and NS is gaining a reputation as an angler. And Phil and Noel are rising in their respective careers.
