Chapter Six - Flaming Food

Of course, Haruo had to be the one that did the cooking since no-one else could be bothered; evidently pillowfighting took greater priority than the risk of starving to death. If there is one thing in real life, Haruo should not be let near a stove. @Featherbelle doesn't. Well, let's just say that the game-Haruo shouldn't be allowed near a stove either. Confounded Simmer-Chars.

If creating an incendiary conflagration wasn't bad enough, Haruo threw up his hands in frustration and went off to eat something on his own by the firepit. If anyone wanted to eat, they would have to cook it themselves.

Mac had no better things to do in the morning, after being up half the night, than to scare Harm half to death by shouting "INCOMING!!!" at the top of her lungs. Harm nearly put his head through the counter thinking that there was going to be a 81mm HE round impacting close to his position. Yeah, Mac, nice one. He's going to remember that and Marine or no Marine, you're in trouble.

Meanwhile, it appeared as though Tosh was engaged in a great flirting session with Kimber, but of course, Mac had to come break that one up as well. She basically insulted his manliness and made fun of his t-shirt saying that Marine Air was much better at CAS (close air support) than Navy fighters. Needless to say, Tosh was pretty insulted. You don't insult a four-time MiG Killer (a couple Sukhois were mixed in too). Meg tried to mollify him, but Tosh was still pretty steamed. Aw, Meg, she's always trying to be the peacemaker.

Of course, Lia had to show Tosh a video that nearly made him upchuck what he'd eaten last night.

When Haruo had finally managed to coax Phil away from insulting the toilet, he settled down to trying to make a second attempt at creating some food. After all, if someone didn't cook, they'd all starve.

After which he called everyone to in to eat so that they wouldn't all starve to death; cleaned out the toilet, washed his hands and then went to eat by the firepit, which surprisingly was still on.

Well, at least, even if they couldn't be bothered to eat properly or make food for themselves, at least someone had the functioning brain-cells to keep the firepit lit. At least they wouldn't freeze to death...at least until winter.

Chapter Five - Blessed by a Unicorn

Honestly, it didn't seem as though anybody was interested in going to sleep in the slightest. They all stood around, ate or did something. I'm sure that they would probably collapse by the next morning. But what do you expect with sims that are insane?

After he'd eating his fill, Jack Keeter stood up again and stared into the darkness.

"I think it had whispered to him things about himself which he did not know, things of which he had no conception till he took counsel with this great solitude - and the whisper had proved irresistibly fascinating. It echoed loudly within him because he was hollow at the core." Tosh stated as he sat there looking at him from his chair as he munched placidly on some waffles.

"What?" Keeter asked.

"Heart of Darkness, Joseph Conrad." Tosh said simply.

Keeter stood there confused.

"Nothin' forget I said anything." Tosh grinned enigmatically.

Dam his Confucian sensibilities. Keeter thought to himself, How am I supposed to decipher his riddles, when he sits there grinning like a physically fit Buddha?

Haruo had to cook dinner that he could potentially use for left-overs for the next day because they were running out of waffles. So he decided to make some goopy carbonara.

Unfortunately, that didn't work out too well...

Haruo figured that his stomach was probably empty, so he opted to eat the last of the waffles and then try cooking again later.

When Haruo was done with eating, he forgot that he had to cook dinner and went over to fish at the pond across the street. Evidently, the Great Unicorn of Sunset Valley saw that Haruo was the most sane of the bunch and befriended him...showering his blessings upon Haruo, so he ended up looking like that vegan vampire in the sunlight out of that certain piece of literary (my mommy told me that if I had nothing good to say about something...to not say anything at all)...Yeah, all sparkly with out becoming a vampire. But anyways, it was nice to be able to have a unicorn as a friend.

Evidently the argument between Meg and Mac got personal, with each decrying each other's mental condition and Meg telling Mac that she was a conceited snob. Mac told Meg that she was a Ms. Goody-two-shoes who was playing toady to Harm.

Then still nettled, she went over and scared the living bejeepers out of Harm who didn't know what the hell just happened or what he did to deserve getting his pants scared off.

Meg, Tosh and Kimber were the recipients of Mac's animosity which didn't go over too well. Mac was just dang lucky that she was no longer in the Marines or she'd be hoisted with her petard and shot over the ramparts towards Central Park in Sunset Valley. It was either that or a Article 89 from the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Yeah, Mac, you're walking a very thin line here.

And Phil was having an animated argument with the kitchen sink; does he ever quit?

...and Tosh nearly threw up his guts when Lia showed him a gross video. Yeah, that'll go over well with the contents of his stomach. I'll be surprised if they ever manage to get a roof over their heads. It's sure gonna be cold this winter.

Chapter Four - Berating the Kitchen Sink

Chapter Four - Berating the Kitchen Sink

Phil had a propensity to scare people. Kimber nearly dropped her plate when Phil popped up out of the blue and went "BOO!" Well, I guess Kimber was thinking about something else and didn't notice that Phil had come up along-side her.

Night had fallen and the only illumination on the site was from the outdoor fire pit...at least it kept the creatures at bay - that coupled with the constant forays by Whiskers the cat, and Hans the dog, well, any creature smaller than the cat would have to be insane to come out to play...oh wait...the dog and the cat are insane too.

Well, it appeared that our erstwhile Meg Austin had started yet another pillowfight war; this time with Jack Keeter. And Lia had now moved on from seaturtle husbandry to a dissertation on Why it's OK to spear marshmallows on a stick and roast them over a nice hot open flame. It's 10PM, does anyone sleep around here?

In the interim, there was a line-up at the kitchen sink mainly because Jen had shifted her attention from berating the toilet to mocking the kitchen sink. Mac wasn't too happy about that considering she'd been up for sixteen hours straight now and still hadn't figured out that it's time for bed. None of them have.

With the cessation of the pillow beating that Meg inflicted on Jack, a water balloon fight between Mac and Kimber ensued. I take it that no-one is the slightest bit sleepy? Or maybe insanity divested them of their need for sleep and the eventual crash will be a sight to behold.

Well, evidently Jen got tired of antagonizing the kitchen sink and Harm decided to take his turn. I don't know who to feel sorry for: the toilet or the kitchen sink. And if Phil decides to talk to the appliances, they'd probably blow a fuse trying to keep up with his rapid changes of subject-matter.

oh...wait...

AW...PLUM!!!
